Title:   Black Glaze Lekanis Fragment

Description:   Lidless lekanis. From a large shallow bowl with slightly projecting step lip, and horizontal eared strap handle. Entirely glazed save outer faces of lip, handle, and handle space. Inside black, outside brown-black. On outer face of handle, reserved lozenges cut in half by horizontal line. Two purple bands inside and out at level of lower edge of handle; two more on upper face of lip. The purple bands bordered by white lines, the white mostly worn away; a wavy horizontal line (also once white?) just below lip outside.
