Title:   Red Figure Lekythos

Description:   Squat lekythos. Heavy rounded body with ring foot, one handle and a narrow neck; the handle and lip missing; a small hole broken in the back.
On the body, opposite handle, and on an egg-pattern band for ground, a draped woman, left. With her right hand she pours from a bowl an offering onto the altar which she faces. With her left she grasps a thyrsos. A round object suspended in the air over the altar.
At the base of the neck, a band occupying rather more than half the circumference is reserved and decorated, below two bands, with elongated petals; dots between their tips. No contours.
