Title:   Black Glaze Amphoriskos: Stamped and Ribbed

Description:   The lower part and one handle missing; mended from several pieces. Similar in shape, fabric and decoration to P 5258 (Β 1401).
Bluish black glaze.
ADDENDA P 5258: Pointed ovoid body, narrow neck and two vertical loop handles. Stamped around base of neck: eggs and maeander; on upper body, leaves with rounded ends, alternating with similar leaves upside down; below, maeander; spirals and reversed palmettes alternately linked, a spiral at the base of each.
