Description:   Nearly circular fragment from plaque; a bit of the lower edge of the plaque preserved.
Hind legs of animal with dot rosettes. Accessory purple; incised line between haunches.
Pale pinkish-buff clay. Faintly lustrous black paint.
ADDENDA Part of a chariot, wheel and pole. Resembles closely Corinthian or Black Figure plaques found elsewhere (cf. Melian vase, Pfuhl (1923), fig. 110).
Cf. New York Nessos amphora for the drawing of the feet. Dated in the 3rd quarter of the 7th c. B.C.
