Title:   Pyxis Lid: West Slope

Description:   Straight-sided circular cover to fit over the pyxis. The top domed and flanged at the edge, the flange to serve for lifting. At the center, raised shallow circle, surrounded by reserved groove; reserved line around inner edge and outer face of flange. On top, ivy garland; on side, horizontal chevron band, all in thinned clay paint.
Thin metallic black glaze inside and out.
