Title:   Black Figure Amphora Fragments
Category:   Pottery
Description:   a) Preserves the upper part, with part of the head, of a bearded male figure, draped, facing left. His left arm, held acros his body, holds a slender staff-like object. Behind this, the edge of the panel, with a narrow framing line.
b) Shows the lower part of a figure to left, with an ankle-length garment. The foot is very long and thin. Below it, two brown lines.
Incision for all details, including embroidery on skirt of figure on fragment b); very lightly incised fold lines for the chiton of the figure on fragment a). Purple for sleeve of undergarment on a), and for horizontal and vertical bands on skirt on b). White dots above the horizontal band; traces of white on foot.
