Title:   Black Glaze Pyxis Lid

Description:   Fragment missing from rim; a small hole pierced in top (for the attachment of a metal ring handle?). Top rounded with a slight concavity surrounded by a groove at the center. At mid-height, a horizontal flange. The lower wall slightly concave.
Dull black glaze; miltos in a groove above the flange and around the concavity on the top. Much of the inside fired red.
