Title:   Pitcher with Paint Decoration

Description:   Base preserved; most of walls and a fragment of rim; nothing of handle. A bulbous trefoil-lipped pitcher on a slightly spreading flat base.
Decoration of lattice-like designs, with scrolls interwoven, in blue and white. On the side is a large medallion, the background dark blue with segments of green and orange. In the center, a brown and white dog, leaping left. On lip and base, green glaze with narrow bands of brown. Inside, glazed with palest bluish-white; outside, transparent glaze over the colors noted.
Bottom unglazed, has graffito: <graphic>
Coarse light buff clay.
