Title:   Plate Fragment: Stamped

Description:   About one-quarter preserved, including center, and fragment of rim. A broad plate, flat, with an edge which curves up and overhangs slightly inside. In the center are radiating palm branches; between each pair of branches a stamped circle with concentric ridges. Then a border of alternating stamped squares with lattice pattern. Another broad circular groove encloses this border.
Red clay and glaze.
