Title:   Pitcher Fragments: Blister Ware
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Many fragments. Low concave base ring. Plump body. Open mouth surrounded by high vertical rim. Traces of a strap handle.
Clay ash-gray on inside, orange on surface. Much blistered.
ADDENDA L.T. thinks this too fragmentary to restore; better to find a good parallel in Corinth. This is the largest piece in this fabric at the Agora. Note wide mouth, shouldering at handles and double groove around shoulder (1959).
Nothing with a mouth of this sort seen in Corinth, though no extensive search made; this fabric however can only be studied in Corinth (1960).
