Title:   Plate with Sgraffito Decoration

Description:   A deep plate with almost vertical, slightly out-turned rim; low ring foot. Restored in plaster. In the center medallion, a bird against an imbricated background. Between the medallion and the rim one narrow and one wide band of zigzags. Fine sgraffito.
Red clay, almost colorless glaze. Very thin white slip on outside.
Context:   Cistern, top fill.
