Title:   Red Figure Oinochoe Fragment

Description:   Fragment of wall; good dull black glaze inside; egg and dot pattern below figures. One small piece of lower border does not join.
Parts of two nude male figures, standing left. Figure at left preserved save for upper front part of head and face, lower right arm and front part of right foot. He stands as if about to jump, his right arm extended, the weight on the left foot, drawn back. In his left hand, hanging at his side, is a bag-like bundle of thongs (cf. BMC, III, pl. III, E 63). The figure at the right (lower front part only preserved) stands in a resting pose, weight on left leg, right knee sharply bent.
Coarse relief contours. Glaze mottled ret to black.
