Title: | Red Figure Lekanis of Pyxis (?) Lid Fragment
Description: | Upper part of female figure, right, holding (or looking at) a mirror; wearing peplos and spendone. At the right, a hand holding a thyrsos, white streamers in the field. At the top of the fragment (base of handle) a broad groove, reserved. No relief contour. Added clay for the woman's necklace, and for two dot ornaments in her hair. The scale seems small for a lekanis lid, but the thickness (0.01) considerable for a pyxis.
