Title:   Statuette of Triple Hekate

Description:   Heads and hands missing; broken at top; chipped around bottom. Dowel hole in bottom.
Three draped figures standing back to back against a six-sided column and holding hands. Long curls fall to their shoulders. One wears a chiton with long overfold, falling in swallow-tailed pleats below the waist, and a cloak worn shawl-wise across her shoulder.
Island marble.
ADDENDA Published as Hekate Herm with Charites.
Context:   Sandy Byzantine fill, on lower south slope of the Acropolis, west of the Panathenic way. Coins late as 12th century A.D.
