Title:   Statuette of Hermaphrodite

Description:   Broken off diagonally across the lower legs. The head was made separately and attached with a pin. Back left rough.
Hermaphrodite of a type similar to S 1234 (ΝΝ 2578), but more elaborate. The figure wears a high-girt chiton and a heavy cloak, which falls over the shoulders and to the ground at the back. Both hands lift the skirt up to the waist in front.
Island (?) marble.
