Title:   Portrait Head of Female Figure

Description:   Broken off at neck, chipped at nose, mouth and chin, and considerably battered.
Small female head, less than half life-size, her hair arranged in an elaborate Flavian style, made up of braids giving a herringbone effect, and built out at the back to a projecting disk.
Just above the center of the forehead, and behind the front line of the hair is a shallow horizontal cutting for the attachment of something: ornament or frame of curls?
Pentelic marble.
Drilled for setting on base December 1960.
Period of Trajan.
