Title:   Nude Reclining Male Figure

Description:   Complete from just below knees to neck; two large chips, flaked off from the upper right arm, mended (old break, caused by a hole between them). Left arm missing.
A hole in the broken surface at the neck apparently served for the attachment of the head.
Male figure, reclining on left side, in the pose of the Ilissos of the Parthenon pediment. Scale about one quarter life. Drapery over right thigh; muscles prominently indicated.
Base, a shallow plinth, rough-worked on the bottom.
Of Herakles type, Herakles Olivarius?
Island marble.
