Title:   Portrait Statue Fragments of Draped Standing Male Figure

Description:   Put together from many pieces; head and right hand, made separately, missing; also the left hand, large fragments of lower body and back and lower legs and feet.
Conventional standing draped male figure, closely wrapped in an himation. The left leg slightly advanced; the right arm is bent up across the breast, where the drapery was held by the right hand; the left arm at the side, bent out slightly from the elbow.
Drapery heavily undercut on the front, roughly blocked out behind.
Pentelic marble.
Notes:   Brought in 1937 (?), mended 1948.
Context:   Provenience uncertain; believed to come from Section Σ, 1937; cf. S 849 (Σ 1352) and S 850 (Σ 1353).
