Title:   Giant's Tail Fragment

Description:   The fragment comes from Odeion, about half way up in the back proper left corner of a pier with Giant attached. Preserved are part of a giant's scale-covered tail (the scales pointing down) and a corner of the pier with moldings on both sides.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in a marble pile near the N.E. corner of the great marble altar.
