Title:   Grave Relief Fragment

Description:   Fragment of fringed shawl falling parallel to standing draped Isis-dressed lady.
Of the lady only an edge of her right hip in high relief and the contour of her elbow of her right raised arm are preserved. On left smooth-finished background surface of the relief lies parallel to shawl and battered outer edge of the relief. Fringe is delicately carved and carefully alternately twisted.
Pentelic marble.
Joins S 1584 (Π 871). From same figure as S 261 (Η 52).
