Title:   Relief Fragment with Sheep

Description:   Fragment showing the head of a sheep in relief against the body of another sheep. Broken all round. Head and neck of the front sheep, and hindquarter of the back one, are preserved. The sheep's nose is pointed, the wool indicated by a rough-picked surface. The eye is outlined by a shallow groove, which continues toward the nose.
Pentelic marble.
Drilled for setting with a single dowel in 1959.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Modern house wall.
