Title:   Portrait Head of Female Figure

Description:   Broken off at neck; nose and chin chipped. Chignon at back looks purposely cut away.
Hair parted in center, falls in broad waves covering ears and is gathered into a knot low in back. Wisps on forehead in center. Large eyes, narrow-bridged nose and curved mouth resemble features of Julia Domna, of whom this is probably a portrait.
Pentelic marble.
