Title:   Head Fragment of Male Figure from Relief
Category:   Sculpture
Description:   Back and top of head, and most of proper right side of face and chin, are missing. The nose is battered. The hair is disposed in small, short locks, bound by a filet. The eyes are deep sunken at the inner corners and the gaze is upturned with an intensity of expression accentuated by the swollen character of the lower lids. The head is turned three-quarters to the left; the mustache and beard are clipped short.
Pentelic marble.
