Description:   Small bust, right side of head broken away. Smooth surface behind and below.
A bearded head with drooping, curling mustache and long hair falling behind ear over shoulder, crowned with ivy wreath. Drill holes at corners of mouth; lips parted. Only corner of right eye remains; left eyeball has been picked out.
Archaistic.
Pink marble.
ADDENDA Published as Head of Dionysos in Herm Form.
Context:   Sand fill above room 4 of late Roman building.
