Title:   Statuette Fragment: Nude Youth with Lion

Description:   Broken off just above the waist, nose and hair chipped, parts of both arms missing.
Nude youth with hair done in archaic style, carrying over his shoulder a lion. He holds the left forepaw in his left hand, while his right passes over the neck of the lion, which rests on his right shoulder.
Herakles and the Nemean lion (?).
Extremely coarse grained Island marble.
