Title:   Plaque: Child and Serpent

Description:   In rather high relief, the head, facing, and the arms of a person defending himself from a snake which has wound itself about the person's body and neck. His hands are raised to his neck to pull the snake's coil away.
Broken all around; the upper side slightly concave.
Buff clay, pink at core.
