Description: | Apparently fragment of piece-mould with, at edge, traces of cord or wire used to trim and separate moulds. Underside of tail of bird (?). Cut line curves, so not from ordinary votive dove mold such as T 4116, also from this context. Soft "blond" clay throughout. Cf. T 4070 and T 4082 from this context, for this cut edge (piece-mould for bird, originally carrying rider) but different fabric, i.e. serarate mold from these. | |
