No period of use was distinguished, since it was impossible to clear the well to the bottom. There is a small amount of disturbance from the filling immediately above, but the bulk of the pottery is consistent, and very close to that from the well H 6:5. ; Homogenous fill ca 0.50m thick overlying an area 3.50mx8.55m, which is paved with smooth round cobblestones, set down in bedrock.","P 14:3","","Deposit over cobbled floor","","","","Agora:Deposit:P 14:3","Ca. 470-460 B.C." It may be compared with H 6:5 and with N 7:3. ; Dug in soft bedrock to a depth of 11.40m; footholds cut on opposite sides of the shaft reached only to 5m. The lowest filling, from 10.75m to bottom, consisting of bedrock fallen from the sides of the well, contained little or no pottery. The main filling was apparently a single deposit, but the amount of pottery found varied appreciably at different depths, the heaviest concentration being a little over half way down, from 6.40m to 7m.; An ample supply of water, encountered (in may) at a depth of 5.30m, along with the relatively sound condition of the rock walls, suggested that the well could have been used.","F 19:4","Agora:Image:2007.11.1127::/Agora/2007/2007.11/2007.11.1127.tif::3066::2901","Well","","","","Agora:Deposit:F 19:4","Ca. 490-450 B.C." The presence of the water-clock strengthens the probability, suggested by its location, that the well served one of the public buildings in the neared neighborhood. The shaft was stopped by a number of large blocks about half way down.; The two fills of the well are so different in character. The lower fill seems pure period of use; mostly water-vessels, with a few bits that fell in by mistake. The upper contrasts sharply with the ""canonical"" late 5th c. fill; very scrappy; very limited variety of shapes.","H 12:11","","Well","","","","Agora:Deposit:H 12:11","Ca. 410-390 B.C."
