Two chambers connected by a tunnel, all filled at the same time, but with slight Hellenistic disturbance. Chamber A, to west at 14/ΛΗ, B to east at 14-15/ΛΒ on grid for section RR.

Cistern with considerable dumped fill at the north foot of Kolonos Agoraios. It may have been abandoned ca. 295-295 B.C.; it will have been filled by 280 B.C.

Dumped filling in an unfinished well originally dug only to a depth of 5.50m. Probably a post-Persian cleanup, perhaps in one of the public buildings near the SW corner of the square ... Ca. 520-490 B.C. |
Dumped filling in the upper part of a well, to a depth of 6.65m. (the excavation could not be completed and the use filling was not reached). Homogeneous fill dumped from nearby. Coins:

Well in house R of industrial area west of the Areopagus. This well, originally tiled, was abandoned and filled at the time of the conversion of the house into a stone-cutters' workshop.
